What we collect
TapTrust collects information you provide when creating an account, submitting feedback, following utilities, or filling out forms. This includes name, email address, and any feedback you submit. We also collect usage data (page views, search queries) to improve the platform.
How we use your data
Your information is used to provide the TapTrust service: finding utilities, delivering alerts you've subscribed to, showing you your submitted feedback, and communicating with you about your account. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Authentication
TapTrust uses Clerk for authentication. Your password and authentication credentials are managed by Clerk and are not stored directly by TapTrust. Please review Clerk's privacy policy for details on how authentication data is handled.
Public feedback
Feedback you submit with "public" visibility may be displayed on utility profile pages. Feedback submitted as "private" is only visible to the utility and TapTrust staff. You may request removal of your public feedback by contacting us.
Data retention
Account data is retained while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at privacy@taptrust.app.
